The style

What makes a good fitted & performance cap

A performance cap is a piece of technical apparel that happens to go on a head. The fabric has to wick, the sweatband has to actually manage sweat, the seams cannot chafe, and the whole thing has to stay put at pace. That means bonded or flatlock seams instead of bulky overlock, laser-cut venting instead of stitched eyelets, and a real fitted size run instead of a strap. We build these on the same logic as the activewear we manufacture.

What we get right that others skip

01

Seams you cannot feel

Bonded and flatlock seams sit flat against the head. On a cap worn during exercise, this is the difference between wearing it and taking it off.

02

Real sweat management

A performance sweatband is a specced component, not the same cotton tape used in a twill cap.

03

Venting without holes in the design

Laser-cut perforation vents without the visual noise of metal eyelets, and keeps the face of the cap clean.

04

Fitted sizing

A strap defeats the point on a running cap. We grade a real fitted run, or use an elasticated back panel.

Fitted & Performance FAQ

Common questions

Yes — we manufacture activewear, so we can specify the same wicking knits and finishes for the cap and keep the colours in the same dye standard.
Yes, as perforated panels or patterned vents. It is cleaner than eyelets and gives you more control over airflow placement.
Fitted is better for running and cycling. We grade S/M and L/XL as standard, and can add an elasticated back instead of a strap.
Heat transfer, silicone or TPU badges and tonal flat embroidery all hold up well. Heavy dense embroidery adds weight and can wick sweat.
From 50 units per style. Bonded construction and laser cutting need setup, so pricing improves noticeably above 200 units.
