The style

What makes a good beanie & knit hat

A beanie is knitted, not sewn, which means the gauge and the yarn are the product. Fine gauge merino sits close and reads premium; a chunky 5GG acrylic reads winter and outdoors. The shape matters just as much: a short fisherman cuff, a deep double cuff and a slouchy uncuffed body are three different products from the same machine. We knit to your spec, block the finished hat properly, and put your branding on as a woven label, embroidery or knitted-in jacquard.

What we get right that others skip

01

Gauge sets the price and the feel

Fine gauge is more yarn passes and more time; chunky is faster but uses heavier yarn. We will tell you which lands closest to your target cost.

02

Blocking is not optional

An unblocked beanie arrives shapeless. Every unit is steamed and blocked to the approved sample shape.

03

Branding that suits knit

Woven labels and knitted-in jacquard sit better on knit than heavy embroidery, which can pull the fabric.

04

Yarn honesty

If you spec merino, you get merino. Blends are stated by percentage on the tech pack and on the label.
