Common questions

Fully-fashioned pieces are knitted to shape panel by panel and linked together, giving a cleaner seam and better yarn economy. Cut-and-sew knits are cut from knitted fabric like jersey. We offer both and will advise which suits your design and budget.

Roughly 3-gauge chunky through to 12-gauge fine, in merino, lambswool, cotton, cashmere blends and synthetics. If you have a specific yarn, we'll source and swatch it.

Yes — multi-colour jacquard, intarsia motifs and knitted-in logos are all possible. We'll confirm what's feasible at your gauge on the swatch stage.

Gauge and tension determine every measurement in a knit. Knitting a swatch first lets us match your target dimensions and hand-feel before committing to a full garment, avoiding costly re-knits.

50 pieces per style is standard. Complex jacquard or very fine gauges may carry a slightly higher minimum due to machine set-up, confirmed on your quote.

Swatch and proto typically take 2–3 weeks, with bulk usually 6–10 weeks after approval depending on yarn lead time, gauge and quantity.
